PassPort™ was designed to facilitate high throughput while ensuring high levels of confidence that screened personnel were not carrying or exposed to explosives. This was accomplished by designing a user-familiar architecture that millions of people are accustomed to using each day. The turnstile design is used by many organizations to perform unique functions ranging from monitoring throughput at theme parks to restricting admission to paying clients at mass transportation entry points.
