Solid foam modeling provided the means for ergonomic testing on a range of racers. Integrating feedback from racers and time-trialists enabled the designers to work closely with the client and create a shifting system that shaves off significant amounts of time in both hilly time-trials and time-trials with a large number of corners. The TT PowerShifters target the racer’s ability to develop more power when standing on the pedals out of the saddle. The shifters may be strategically positioned on the “cow-horn” portion of the handlebars to allow for shifting when in an out of the saddle (power) position. For flatter races, the shifters can be repositioned to the time-trial bars where they offer far better ergonomics and aerodynamics over all other systems on the market.
